StormAudio boosts Remote Management, speaker calibration throught partnerships

StormAudio, the AV manufacturer specialising in immersive audio which split from its former parent company Auro Technologies, has announced new alliances with Performance Media Industries and Domotz. These new partnerships will include everything from enhanced calibration and home cinema design, as well as better remote management.

Through its partnership with Performance Media Industries, StormAudio will now offer installers a 90-step calibration service, as well as three design service packages. These are Level 1: Home Cinema Internal Acoustic Design; Level 2: Home Cinema Acoustical Isolation and Design, and Level 3: Full Home Cinema Audio and Video Design.

Installers will have to pay a fee to use the services available from Performance Media Industries, with the calibration carrying a retail price for $5,500. The various design services will cost $8,900, $22,000 and $37,000 for Level 1, 2 and 3, respectively.

"Critical to all rooms are engineering, speaker placement and room acoustics," said Performance Media Industries’ president Anthony Grimani .

"The StormAudio ISP Series are certainly the best immersive audio processors on the market, and very much deserving of this special attention to fully shine. However, work like this demands considerable time of the installer. This is where PMI comes into play – it is through our new alliance that StormAudio dealers can take advantage of our CEDIA award-winning services. This allows dealers to get the most out of the room while alleviating them of all the exacting and often tedious engineering."

Domotz: Enhanced Remote Monitoring

StormAudio isn’t just concentrating on making its products sound better with tailored calibration and design, with the firm also committed in helping installers manage its products remotely. With the company already offering StormMonitoring, a web-portal that allows installers to diagnose all aspects of system health and reset the product if needed, StormAudio is going a step further by integrating this functionality into Domotz, a remote monitoring and management tool popular with installers.

"Domotz is a highly-efficient Remote Assistance as a Services solution for home theatre systems installers," noted StormAudio USA operations service/support manager Chrisanne Rhodes.

"We are thrilled to inform dealers that StormAudio fully integrates with Domotz."

The integration with Domotz will enable installers to monitor the health of their clients’ StormAudio set-up, with an on-site microphone also enabling a loudspeaker check with real-time analysis. Support for Domotz adds even greater functionality and security to remote management of all StormAudio products, namely on-demand full-access to the units for diagnosis and immediate correction. An added benefit is that Domotz does not require internet router configuration.
